The garden is shaded by tung trees, covered with turf as soft as felt, crisscrossed by small bridges and flowing streams, and features winding paths leading to serene spots. Here, you can see a large banyan tree that creates the illusion of a forest from a single tree, and sample local Baiyangdian cuisine. Head to the Ethnic Song and Dance Performance Stage to watch water town wedding performances unique to Baiyangdian, folk music concerts, cormorant fishing shows, and reed craft demonstrations. Experience the distinctive Baiyangdian fork-throwing performance, join in on water motorcycle stunt shows, and seek romance and thrills. Climb to the Mandarin Duck Tower for a bird’s-eye view—you’ll feel refreshed, with panoramic vistas of the vast lake as well as the entire island.
