Wansong Garden in Nanshan is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Wansong Garden in Nanshan is located south of Zhangjiatun Village, Baicheng Town, in the southern part of Gaomi City, covering an area of over 2,000 acres and approximately 15 kilometers from the city center. It is named for the many ancient pine trees within the garden. The garden’s name “Wansong Garden” was inscribed by Mr. Zhang Jianzhong, the president of Huangshan Painting and Calligraphy Academy and a renowned artist. The gate is flanked by a couplet that reads: “Hiding spring and resting autumn, where is Wuling hard to find? By the water listening to pines, the valleys and ravines are hard to fully describe.” The garden features pavilions, cottages, cave dwellings, villa-style guesthouses, fitness facilities, and more than 60 distinctive landscapes and scenic spots. There are winter jujube orchards, pear orchards, and chestnut orchards available for visitors to pick from; attractions that draw people in include Wansong Lake, Lovers’ Valley, Millstone Cliff, and the Hundred Birds Garden; there are also accommodations such as “Wansong Zhai” and “Cave Villa,” which resembles earthen mounds and thatched cottages while offering elegant and comfortable lodging. Visitors coming here for leisure can enjoy pesticide-free and pollution-free Wansong Lake carp, Huaguoshan mushrooms, pheasants, wild rabbits, and a variety of seasonal vegetables grown in the garden, immersing themselves in the natural scenery and experiencing rural charm.
