Changle Gushan Scenic Area
The state-owned Gushan Forest Farm in Changle County was established in November 1959 as an ecological and public welfare forest farm, with a total management area of 12,720 mu. It is divided into four forest districts: Lijiashan, Gushan, Xiejia Shan, and Fangshan. The forest farm is located in the low mountain and hilly area southeast of the county town, with its main part consisting of 22 peaks from the Fangshan and Gushan mountain ranges. The forested land of the farm covers 12,663 mu, including 11,145 mu of timber forest, 1,518 mu of sparse forest, with a total standing timber volume of 15,090 cubic meters and a forest coverage rate of 87.6%. The main tree species include Chinese arborvitae and black locust, along with other species such as oak, cedar, juniper, smoketree, and maple.
