Louli Site

The Louli Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Linyi City.

The Louli Site is located in the northwest of Louli Village, Banquan Town, Junan County. It dates back to the Eastern Zhou and Han dynasties and is classified as an ancient site.

The Louli Site is among the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.

Banquan Town: Banquan Town in Junan County, Shandong Province, is a central town approved by the provincial government and is renowned as the “Hometown of Willow Weaving.” The town comprises 62 administrative villages, has a population of 75,000, and covers an area of 99 square kilometers.

Banquan Town enjoys a superior location and convenient transportation. It borders Lanshan Port in Rizhao to the east and faces Linyi City across the Shu River to the west. Within the town, the Lanshan-Jining Highway and the Yanzhou-Shijiusuo Railway run east-west, while the Ju County-Ahu Highway extends north-south. It takes only 15 minutes to reach Linyi Airport, 40 minutes to get to Rizhao, 2 hours to Qingdao, and 3 hours to Jinan.
