Zibo Liuxian Lake Park

Liuxian Lake Park is named after the courtesy name "Liuxian" of Pu Songling, the world-renowned master of short stories. Legend has it that when Pu Songling returned from his southern travels and passed by this place, he was captivated by the gentle breeze, the winding embankment, the graceful weeping willows, the shimmering blue waves, and the enchanting ripples that made the scene seem like a fairyland. He felt utterly refreshed and reluctant to leave, spending his days fishing and composing poetry here, so enchanted that he lost all desire to return home for several days. Covering a total area of 55 hectares, the park is bordered by Jixiang Road to the east and Jiangjun Road to the south. Major attractions include the Red Ribbon, waterside platforms, corridors, Linghong Bridge, Danbo Bridge, the lake’s central island, sparse woodland meadows, and large and small rockeries.

The park features health-focused elements such as a health education promotional corridor, fitness trails, body mass index (BMI) turntables, health cabins, outdoor fitness equipment zones, and sports squares, promoting public wellness. This people's livelihood project is highly popular among local residents.
