Xuyue Folk Museum

Xuyue Folk Museum is located in Zhangli Village, Kunlun Town, Zichuan District, Zibo City, Shandong Province, and is the first privately-run folk museum in Zibo. The villager Wang Xuyue, after graduating from high school, has been working as a farmer at home. During this time, he personally experienced various historical stages such as private land ownership after the land reform, primary cooperatives, people's communes, and the household contract responsibility system after the reform and opening up, and holds deep affection for rural areas, agriculture, and farmers.

Since twenty years ago, he has been collecting agricultural production tools and daily utensils used by farmers from various historical periods. To date, he has collected more than 2,000 items, ranging from large stone mills to small needle pricks, all reflecting various aspects of traditional Chinese production and daily life. Through these objects, the real conditions of rural production and farmers' lives in China over the long term can be authentically reconstructed, possessing high historical and cultural research value. The museum covers an area of 600 square meters and houses a collection of over 2,000 items and sets.
