The Qianlai Site

The Qianlai Site is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

The Qianlai Site is located in Qianlai Village, Chengnan Town, Zichuan District, Zibo City. It dates back to the Shang and Han dynasties.

The Qianlai Site features a rich cultural heritage, with artifacts spanning the Shang-Zhou period to the Han Dynasty. It covers an area of over 300,000 square meters, with a cultural layer approximately 1 meter thick. Key finds include gray pottery li rims, jar rims, urn rims, basin rims, dou bases, and roof tiles. The site has suffered severe damage.

On December 7, 2006, the Qianlai Site was designated as part of the third batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.
