Weiyi Kiln Site

The Weiyi Kiln Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Weiyi Kiln Site is located in Longquan Town, Zichuan District, Zibo City, and is an ancient porcelain kiln site from the Ming and Qing dynasties.

In 2013, the Weiyi Kiln Site was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the Shandong Provincial People's Government.

Longquan Town: Traveling 3 kilometers south along Hunan Road from the former residence of Pu Songling, you will arrive at Longquan Town in Zichuan District, a municipal-level central town named by the Zibo Municipal Government. The town covers a total area of 40.16 square kilometers, governs 16 administrative villages and 2 neighborhood committees, with a total population of 48,000. Longquan Town boasts well-developed communication infrastructure, convenient transportation, and abundant coal resources. It has nearly 10,000 program-controlled telephone lines, and Provincial Highway Hunan Road runs north to south through the town. Its superior geographical location, unique resource advantages, and simple, hospitable local culture attract guests from home and abroad who gather here to plan for a prosperous future.
