Gongjiawu Kiln Site

The Gongjiawu Kiln Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Gongjiawu Kiln Site is located in Lingzi Town, Zichuan District, Zibo City, dating back to the Song and Yuan dynasties.

On June 23, 2015, the Gongjiawu Kiln Site was designated as part of the fifth batch of Shandong Provincial-level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People’s Government of Shandong Province.

Lingzi Town: Located in the western part of Zichuan District, Lingzi Town administers 27 administrative villages and 38 natural villages, with a total population of 37,000. The town borders Cicun Town to the east, Shangjia Town and Wangcun Town of Zhoucun District to the north, Zhangqiu City to the west, and Yuqu Town of Boshan District to the south, making it the western gateway to Zichuan.

The town features a hilly and mountainous terrain, with the highest elevation at 630 meters. The landscape slopes from south to north, spanning a maximum east-west distance of 12.5 kilometers and a maximum north-south distance of 14 kilometers, covering an area of 78 square kilometers with cultivated land of 17,694 mu.
