Xianhe Town

Xianhe Town is located on the northern side of the Yellow River estuary and falls under the jurisdiction of Hekou District in Dongying City. It is a typical modern oilfield mining town, named after its location by the picturesque Shenxian Gully. Designed by Tongji University in Shanghai, the town was constructed and put into use in phases starting from 1984.

The town features an innovative and distinctive design concept, with lively and natural architecture. It takes full advantage of being surrounded by water on all sides and situated within a locust tree forest, constructing the Forest Park to the east of the town, the Penglai Park to the north, and the Water Park to the west. These green spaces harmoniously integrate natural and architectural landscapes, making Xianhe Town a modern coastal town with a comfortable living environment and elegant surroundings. The town has been awarded the Golden Prize for Urban Planning and the First Prize for Technological Progress from the Ministry of Construction, as well as titles such as Shandong Province Civilized Residential Community and National Model Civilized Residential Area.
