Hekou Xinhu Baizao Garden is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The Xinhu Baizao Garden covers a total area of about 100 acres with a total investment of 3 million yuan. It has introduced 389 varieties of high-quality, rare, and unique jujube trees from places such as Cangzhou in Hebei, Taiyuan in Shanxi, and Tai’an and Binzhou within the province. Through methods such as high grafting and graft cultivation, it has established a jujube tree resource base that integrates scientific research and sightseeing. The jujubes are mainly divided into three categories: ornamental, fresh-eating, and dried fruit. Varieties include Apple Jujube, Pear Jujube, Yuanling Jujube, Papaya Jujube, Grinding Plate Jujube, Persimmon Jujube, September Green, Chili Jujube, Horse Tooth Jujube, Teapot Jujube, and Steelyard Weight Jujube, among others. They come in round, pointed, long, gourd-shaped, as well as special types like Fetal Red and Three-Color Change. In the golden autumn season, the Baizao Garden is laden with fruits of various shapes, together with the surrounding tens of thousands of acres of winter jujube orchards, forming a uniquely distinctive green jujube industry eco-tourism area. The garden serves not only as a sightseeing and experimental garden but also as a jujube tree gene bank, providing valuable resources and technical support for jujube-related scientific research and the production of the surrounding tens of thousands of acres of winter jujubes. Xinhu Baizao Garden has introduced 389 varieties of high-quality, rare, and unique jujube trees and established a jujube tree resource base that combines scientific research and sightseeing through methods such as high grafting and graft cultivation. In the golden autumn season, the garden is filled with jujubes of diverse shapes, becoming a fully functional jujube science education site. Together with the surrounding vast areas of winter jujube orchards, it forms a uniquely distinctive jujube industry eco-tourism area.
