The Sun Tzu Cultural Tourism Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Sun Tzu Cultural Tourism Area is located in the eastern new district of Guangrao County. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a national-level water conservancy scenic area, and a national-level soil and water conservation science and technology demonstration park.

With a total planned area of 42 square kilometers, the area is developed based on the comprehensive development of Sun Wu Lake. In line with the standards of a national-level eco-tourism demonstration area and resort, it is developed and constructed according to functional positioning in ecology, tourism, culture, and urban integration. The planned layout includes six major zones: tourism experience, sports and leisure, hot spring resorts, scientific research and education, Buddhist culture, and folk customs. Key projects include dozens of tourism and leisure developments such as the Sun Tzu Cultural Park, Maming Temple, La'an Ancient City, Sun Tzu Academy, Country Club, and Sun Tzu’s Hometown Park. Supporting infrastructure such as forest farms, wetlands, and greenways are also provided. Through clustered development of tourism projects and integrated growth of urban and tourism facilities, it aims to become an influential cultural experience base, leisure resort destination, tourist attraction, and hub for modern service industries.

The Sun Tzu Cultural Tourism Area fully integrates culture with tourism and is developed around the layout of “one corridor, two belts, three zones, and six loops,” within which the “eighteen hundred” key project cluster is constructed. Among these, the Sun Tzu Cultural Park covers an area of 1,300 acres, serving as the core scenic area of the Sun Tzu Cultural Tourism Area and as a focal point and concentrated showcase for Sun Tzu culture.

Featured Landscapes: Within the Sun Tzu Cultural Tourism Area stand 26 sculpture works themed around Sun Tzu and The Art of War, created by sculptors from China and abroad. These sculptures interpret the life story of the military sage Sun Wu, as well as the essence of The Art of War and military strategic culture.
