Zhongjia Site

The Zhongjia Site is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Zhongjia Site is situated on higher ground and has a terrace-like shape. Partial explorations have revealed remnants of Longshan Culture burials and ash pits. Collected artifacts include tripods, jars, basins, pots, cups, bowls, spinning whorls, stone axes, stone sickles, stone chisels, shell sickles, as well as bone needles and bone awls from the Longshan Culture period. Pottery is predominantly sandy clay, followed by clay pottery. Most surfaces are polished and plain, decorated with blue patterns, string patterns, and added coil designs; the pottery is mainly blackish-brown. Additionally, artifacts from the Yueshi Culture period such as clay mushroom knobs, vessel lids, and jar bottoms, as well as gray sandy pottery cord-marked li tripods, gray clay pottery dou stands, stems, and jars from the Shang and Zhou periods, have been collected at the site. This site is a municipal-level key cultural relics protection unit.
