The Tian Family Ancestral Hall in Men is a cultural relic protection unit of Dongying City.

The Tian Family Ancestral Hall in Men is located in Tianmen Village, Dawang Town, approximately 20 meters east of the Yanghe River and adjacent to a north-south street to the west. It spans about 18 meters from east to west and around 30 meters from north to south, covering a total area of approximately 540 square meters. The ancestral hall consists of a main northern building and a southern gate tower, forming a complete courtyard. The northern building has three rooms, topped with gray tiles, featuring a flush-gable roof, and built with a brick, stone, and wood structure. It is 11.5 meters wide and 7.7 meters deep, with four beams and eight pillars, a flush gable ridge, and bas-relief carvings of golden-colored dragons playing with a pearl. The ridge is adorned with animal sculptures. The terrace is 6.6 meters long from east to west, 4.5 meters long from north to south, and 0.6 meters high. A stone-paved pathway leads from the main gate to the main hall, and there is a backyard garden behind the main hall planted with flowers, plants, and trees. The southern gate is a double-door structure, with a plaque hanging above that reads “Tian Family Ancestral Hall.” The main gate is 4.55 meters deep and 3.85 meters wide. It is said that the Tian Family Ancestral Hall in Tianmen Village was built during the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty, making it over 160 years old. The ancestral hall has undergone multiple renovations, with the last one taking place in the early years after the liberation. It still retains its original appearance. The courtyard architecture is simple and elegant, embodying the typical architectural style and characteristics of the Qing Dynasty. In 2017, it was announced as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units.
