The Daozhuang Republican-Era Courtyard House is a cultural heritage site protected by Dongying City.

The Daozhuang Republican-Era Courtyard House is located within the compound of the Central Kindergarten in Daozhuang Town, Guangrao County. It was first discovered on April 2, 2009, and is a historic building from the Republican Era, constructed by Li Qingshan, commander of the First Regiment of the 16th Security Brigade of the Kuomintang’s Shandong Provincial Defense Force. The courtyard house faces south and features a traditional quadrangle layout with a brick-and-wood structure, gray tiles, and a flush gable roof. It consists of a north room, an east room, a west room, and a south room. The north room has five bays, measuring 17.42 meters in width and 4.47 meters in depth. The east and west rooms each have three bays, both measuring 4.17 meters in width and 9.87 meters in depth. The south room has two bays, measuring 7.4 meters in width and 4.17 meters in depth. The entire courtyard is 17.42 meters wide from east to west and 20.51 meters long from north to south, covering an area of approximately 370 square meters. The overall structure of the courtyard house is relatively well-preserved and exhibits typical architectural characteristics of the Republican Era. It provides important physical evidence for studying the architectural history of Guangrao County during that period, as well as for researching the life and deeds of Li Qingshan. In 2017, it was designated as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.
