Haojia Site

The Haojia Site is a cultural heritage site protected by Guangrao County.

The Haojia Site is located to the west of Haojia Village, Lique Town, Guangrao County, and was re-examined on May 13, 2009. Observations at the site revealed a large number of cultural relics scattered across the surface, including the rims of gray pottery jars, gray pottery pots, gray pottery urns, and gray pottery bricks, adorned with decorative patterns such as fluted, checkered, and rope designs. Drilling surveys found that the site has a relatively thick cultural layer containing materials such as plant ash, gray pottery shards, and red-fired earth particles. The site stretches 300 meters from east to west and 200 meters from north to south, covering a total area of 60,000 square meters. Based on the analysis of collected cultural relics and drilling results, the site dates back to the Han Dynasty and the Song to Ming Dynasties. It serves as an important physical resource for studying the residential history of Guangrao County and holds significant historical preservation value.

Lique Town: Lique Town is situated in the southern part of Guangrao County, approximately 8 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Linzi District of Zibo City to the south, connects to Dawang Town to the east, and adjoins Zibo City and Binzhou City to the west. The provincial-level highway Xinhel Road runs north-south through the town, and the soon-to-be-constructed local railway—Xingguang Railway—will traverse the area from east to west. The town covers a total area of 66.44 square kilometers, with 75,916 mu of arable land. It includes 57 village committees, with a total of 10,806 households and a population of 36,768, of which 17,197 are female, 1,673 are non-agricultural residents, the natural population growth rate is 3.89‰, and the family planning rate is 99%.
