Huangqiu Site

The Huangqiu Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Guangrao County.

The Huangqiu Site is located approximately 600 meters northwest of Huangqiudong Village, Lique Town, Guangrao County. It was re-examined on May 7, 2009, measuring 205 meters from east to west and 267 meters from north to south, covering a total area of 45,000 square meters. Observations at the site reveal a significant scattering of cultural relics on the surface, including gray pottery shards, gray pottery stem bases, and fragments of gray pottery bricks. Drilling investigations found that the cultural layer at the site is relatively shallow, about 1 meter thick, containing materials such as gray pottery fragment particles. Based on the collected cultural relics, the site is dated to the Han Dynasty and serves as an important physical resource for studying the residential history of Guangrao County, holding significant historical preservation value.
