Xidutuan Ruins

The Xidutuan Ruins are a cultural heritage site protected by Guangrao County.

The Xidutuan Ruins are located about 400 meters west of Xidutuan Village, Guangrao Town. Originally, they measured approximately 400 meters from east to west and 300 meters from north to south, but due to damage, they now span roughly 300 meters east-west and 200 meters north-south. A village road running east-west passes through the center of the ruins. Collected samples include fragments of gray earthenware, rims of helmet-shaped gray earthenware vessels, remnants of gray pottery tiles, rims of gray pottery jars, and fine cord-marked gray pottery pieces. The soil in the test pits is soft, with the cultural layer extending 1.5 meters deep, containing materials such as plant ash, red-fired earth chunks, and gray pottery fragments. Based on the collected samples, it is inferred that the site dates back to the Neolithic Age and the Han Dynasty, providing valuable evidence for studying the cultural development of those periods.
