Dongshui Site

Dongshui Site

The Dongshui Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Guangrao County.

The Dongshui Site is located at the southeastern corner of Dongshui Village, Lique Town, Guangrao County. It stretches 195 meters from east to west and 508 meters from north to south, covering a total area of 62,000 square meters. Observations on-site show that the terrain is slightly higher in the west and lower in the east. The surface is scattered with numerous cultural relics, including gray pottery bean stems, gray pottery bean rim fragments, remnants of gray pottery jars, gray pottery roof tiles, and bricks. Analysis of the collected relics indicates that the site dates back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties through the Han dynasty. It serves as an important physical resource for studying the residential history of Guangrao County and holds certain historical value.
