Dongxinzhang Site

The Dongxinzhang Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Guangrao County.

The Dongxinzhang Site is situated 150 meters south of Dongxin Village, Lique Town, Guangrao County, spanning approximately 500 meters from east to west and 280 meters from north to south, with a total area of about 140,000 square meters. Drilling investigations indicate that the cultural layer is around 1.2 meters deep, containing red-fired earth particles, plant ash, and gray clay pottery shards, and a sand-tempered pottery shard was discovered at a depth of about 1.2 meters. Observations on-site show that the surface of the site is scattered with numerous cultural relics, including gray pottery li tripod feet, coarse rope-patterned gray pottery li rims, gray pottery dou plates, dou stems, and gray pottery fabric-patterned roof tiles. Based on the collected cultural relics and drilling results, it is determined that this site dates back to a certain historical period and serves as important physical evidence for studying the history of human habitation in Guangrao County, holding significant historical value.

Lique Town: Lique Town is located in the southern part of Guangrao County, 8 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Linzi District of Zibo City to the south, connects to Dawang Town to the east, and adjoins Zibo City and Binzhou City to the west. The provincial-level highway Xinhe Road runs north-south through the town, and the planned local railway — Xingguang Railway — will traverse the area from east to west. The total area is 66.44 square kilometers, with cultivated land covering 75,916 mu. There are 57 villagers' committees, with a total of 10,806 households and a population of 36,768, including 17,197 women, 1,673 non-agricultural residents, a natural population growth rate of 3.89‰, and a family planning rate of 99%.
