Dongzhuangzi Village North Site

The Dongzhuangzi Village North Site is a cultural heritage site protected by Guangrao County.

The Dongzhuangzi Village North Site is located about 250 meters north of Dongzhuangzi Village in Dawang Town. The terrain is flat and the site is rectangular, approximately 200 meters east-west and 120 meters north-south, covering an area of about 24,000 square meters. Drilling revealed a cultural layer about 70 centimeters thick, with few inclusions—only red-fired earth particles were observed. There are also few surface artifacts. Collected specimens include fragments of gray pottery rims, jar rims, basin bottoms, and white-glazed porcelain pieces. Based on the characteristics of these artifacts, the site is identified as a cultural remnant from the Han Dynasty through the Song and Yuan Dynasties, providing valuable insights for the study of cultural development in this region during those periods.
