Daiwan Sluice

Daiwan Sluice is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

Daiwan Sluice is located in Daiwan Town, Linqing City, and dates back to the Ming Dynasty.

On October 10, 2013, Daiwan Sluice was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Daiwan Town: Daiwan Township is located on the ancient canal, 15 kilometers southeast of Linqing City. It governs 40 administrative villages, covering an area of 68.5 square kilometers, with 63,000 mu of arable land and a population of over 30,000.

Daiwan Township actively develops high-yield and efficient agriculture such as vegetables, fruit, and livestock breeding. By the end of 2002, the township had 3,500 mu of winter-warm greenhouses and various sizes of arched sheds, 2,000 mu of fruit orchards, and annual livestock inventories of 14,700 cattle, 40,000 sheep, 35,000 pigs, and 200,000 chickens.
