Located at the entrance of Donggou Valley, it was originally a natural pond covering an area of about 200 m² with a depth of 2 m. It got its name because, with Brush Rack Mountain standing opposite, legend has it that the God of Literature often came here to wash his inkstone during his cultivation, turning the water a deep green color.
