Shangmoshiling Folk Village is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Shangmoshiling Village is located in Zhangzhuang Town, Zoucheng City. Established during the Ming Dynasty, the village was historically renowned for producing whetstones and millstones, which gave it the name Shangmoshiling. The village preserves over 70 traditional residences, most of which are old stone houses built with local stone. The stone houses, walls, and lanes form a cohesive whole, showcasing distinct local characteristics. The village is also known for its geographically certified product, the Niuxin persimmon, cultivated across approximately 2,000 acres. Among these are over 30 ancient persimmon trees, some over 300 years old, that are under special protection. Additionally, there are 13 cultural and historical sites, including ancient fortress walls, wells, streets, and old millstones—rare tourist resources in the Jining area. The villagers maintain simple, traditional ways of life, including making tofu by hand, cooking pancakes, and sewing shoe soles. They also have a longstanding tradition of caring for trees, with many households having centuries-old locust and persimmon trees. These elements vividly record the village’s history.
