The Tomb of Nangong Kuo is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Tomb of Nangong Kuo is located about 200 meters southeast of Qian Nangong Village, Zhongdian Town, Zoucheng City. Nangong Kuo, courtesy name Zigong and also known as Nangong, was a native of the State of Lu during the late Spring and Autumn period. He was both a student of Confucius and the husband of Confucius's niece. In the 27th year of the Kaiyuan era of the Tang Dynasty (739 AD), he was posthumously titled “Marquis of Tan”; in the 2nd year of the Dazhong Xiangfu era of the Northern Song Dynasty (1009 AD), he was further honored as “Marquis of Gongqiu.” The tomb site originally had an offering hall, enclosing walls, and dozens of ancient trees dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, all of which were demolished and damaged during the Cultural Revolution. The tomb mound was also leveled. Only one broken Qing dynasty tombstone remains.

Qian Nangong Village: Overview of Qian Nangong Village

Qian Nangong Village in Zhongdian Town is located at the northwest foot of Gangshan Mountain, on the south side of the western end of the North Outer Ring Road. The village has a total of 3 villager groups, 445 households, and 1,760 residents, including 65 Party members and 20 people with education above high school level. It currently has 807 mu of agricultural land, of which 593 mu are planted with wheat and corn, and 18 mu are orchard land; forested area covers 52 mu, strawberry fields cover 96 mu, and vegetable fields cover 48 mu, including 42 mu under plastic greenhouses.
