The ruins of Zhuzhi City is a cultural tourism attraction.

The ruins of Zhuzhi City are located on the northern side of the east-west oriented “Zhugou” valley, in the plains on the eastern bank of the ancient Huo River, near the southwest of Houzhugou Village in Chengqian Town. The 1595 (Ming Dynasty Wanli 13th year) edition of the “Teng County Annals” records: “Zhuzhi City is located in Zhugou Village, seventy li northeast of [Teng] County. It is commonly mispronounced as Zhugou or Zhoushuigou. Locals say it was the site of the ancient Shang Dynasty’s Zhulong Clan. Its origins are unknown, but a solitary stone tomb still exists, said to be the tomb of the Zhuyi King.” In the last century, archaeologists excavated ancient tombs on a ridge 300 meters north of the city site, among which they discovered a “crouching burial” tomb from the Neolithic Age. This crouching burial method was used during the matrilineal clan society period, dating back approximately six to seven thousand years.
