Daliu Reservoir

Daliu Reservoir is located about 0.5 kilometers northwest of Daliu Village in Zhangzhuang Town. It lies at the southern foot of Phoenix Mountain. The spring water gushes up from the bottom of the pool, resembling a black dragon playing in the water, hence the name Wulong Spring (Black Dragon Spring). Construction began in October 1968 and was completed in 1969. The reservoir has a catchment area of 8.44 square kilometers and a total storage capacity of 1.68 million cubic meters. The reservoir boasts a tranquil environment and fresh, invigorating air, making it a “natural oxygen bar” and a picturesque gallery of landscapes.

Daliu Village: Introduction to Daliu Village

Daliu Village is located in the eastern part of Zhangzhuang Town, covering an area of 4.94 square kilometers with 2,600 mu of arable land. The village has a population of 3,042 residents; the village committee consists of 5 members and there are 74 Party members. The village mainly grows peanuts and sweet potatoes. In 2012, the village collective economic income was 2,680 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 9,000 yuan.
