Lianqing Mountain Forest Park

The Lianqing Mountain Range is located at the junction of Zhangzhuang Town and Shanting in Tengzhou, stretching 10 kilometers from east to west and 3.6 kilometers from north to south. Situated in the warm temperate deciduous broad-leaved forest zone, it boasts extremely rich wildlife resources and a vegetation coverage rate of 95%. The vegetation is rich and varied, comprising woody plants such as pine, cypress, oak, Chinese tallow tree, yellow sandalwood, black locust, silk tree, coptis, and mountain elm, as well as over 65 families and more than 230 species of herbaceous plants, including skullcap, fleeceflower root, kudzu root, motherwort, ganoderma, stone silkworm, ginseng, gastrodia elata, garden balsam, windproof herb, schizonepeta, and ganoderma. In 2006, the Zoucheng Forestry Bureau approved the establishment of the municipal-level Lianqing Mountain Forest Park. In 2009, it was promoted to a prefecture-level (Jining) forest park.
