Changping Mountain Jade Emperor Temple

The Changping Mountain Jade Emperor Temple is a cultural heritage protection site of Jining City.

The Changping Mountain Jade Emperor Temple is located on the eastern side of Changping Mountain in Gushang Village, Dasu Town, Zoucheng City. It is classified as an ancient architectural structure and falls under the category of historical architecture.

On December 26, 2016, it was designated by the Zoucheng Municipal People’s Government as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Jining City.

Dasu Town: Covering a total area of 136.6 square kilometers, Dasu Town administers 77 administrative villages, with 102,600 mu of arable land and a population of 78,000. In 2005, the town achieved a gross domestic product of 1.04 billion yuan, and the per capita income of farmers reached 4,707 yuan.

Dasu Town is known for its talented people and rich cultural heritage. The planned China Huaxia Cultural Symbol City is situated in the Jiulong Mountain range to the northwest of Dasu Town. Within the town, there are three national-level cultural heritage protection units: the Mencius Forest, the Gelo Mountain Northern Zhou cliff carvings, and the Yunshan Han Tombs.
