Mashtou Site

The Mashtou Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jining City.

The Mashtou Site is located in Mashtou Village, Xiangcheng Town, Zoucheng City. It dates back to ancient times and is classified as an ancient site.

On December 26, 2016, the Jining Municipal People's Government designated it as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Jining.

Xiangcheng Town: Located in the southeastern part of Zoucheng City, Xiangcheng Town is 20 kilometers from the city center. The town has a population of 84,000, covers an area of 177 square kilometers, and governs 100 administrative villages. In 2003, the total rural economic income of the town was 322.64 million yuan, fiscal revenue was 22.64 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 2,960 yuan.

The town boasts diverse leading and pillar industries. Key sectors include forestry and fruit, animal husbandry, stone materials, and agricultural by-product processing. Four major zones have been established for jujubes, pomegranates, apricots, and sericulture, with contiguous economic forests covering 55,000 mu.
