Tuwang Air-raid Shelter

The Tuwang Air-raid Shelter is a cultural relics protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Tuwang Air-raid Shelter is located in Dasu Town, Zoucheng City, dating back to 1971.

On June 23, 2015, the Tuwang Air-raid Shelter was designated as part of the fifth batch of Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People’s Government of Shandong Province.

Dasu Town: Covering a total area of 136.6 square kilometers, Dasu Town administers 77 administrative villages, with 102,600 mu of arable land and a population of 78,000. In 2005, the town achieved a gross domestic product of 1.04 billion yuan, with per capita income among farmers reaching 4,707 yuan.

Dasu Town is rich in talent and cultural heritage. The planned China Huaxia Cultural Symbol City is situated in the Jiulong Mountain range to the northwest of Dasu Town. Within its jurisdiction, there are three national-level cultural relics protection units: the Mencius Forest, the Northern Zhou cliff carvings on Gelu Mountain, and the Han Tombs of Yunshan; as well as one Jining municipal-level cultural relics protection unit: the Hui Chengzi Site.
