The Twin Dragons Great Rift Valley Natural Scenic Area falls under the jurisdiction of Beizhuang Town. It is located on Xiong'er Mountain, the western part of the Baodugu Scenic Area—the foremost among the 72 karst hills of the Yimeng Mountains and a national forest park. It integrates natural attractions such as the Twin Dragons Great Rift Valley, a cave cluster, Huanglong Cave, Dragon Claw Cliff, Peony Hermitage, Bajie Cave, and Longquan Spring. This is a unique karst geological and geomorphological natural wonder that is exclusive to the province, unparalleled in the country, and boasts distinctive features. The scenic area enjoys superior geographical and natural conditions, with abundant forest and vegetation resources. Transportation and communication are highly convenient. To the west, it borders National Highway 104, the Beijing-Fuzhou Expressway, the Beijing-Shanghai Railway, and Xuzhou Guanyin International Airport. To the east, it lies near – Highway and the ports of Lianyungang and Shijiu, as well as the Zaozhuang–Feixian Highway and the Boshan–Xuzhou Highway, which pass through the region. With a beautiful natural environment and pleasant scenery, it holds unique natural and geographical advantages.

The Twin Dragons Great Rift Valley is situated on the southern foothills of the western side of Xiong'er Mountain. It is a nationally unique karst geological and geomorphological natural landscape. The rift stretches 600 meters from west to east and 300 meters from south to north, with an average height of 40 meters. Its crisscrossing passages are wonderfully varied—sometimes shrouded in darkness, sometimes suddenly opening up into bright spaces. With winding paths leading to secluded spots, caves nestled against one another in well-arranged chaos, it resembles a celestial street corridor. The cliffs on both sides are steep and towering, with thousands of feet of sheer rock faces, and stalactites scattered all over.

The widest part of the Twin Dragons Great Rift Valley reaches 10 meters, while the narrowest spot is so tight that one can only pass through sideways. Within the rift, there are natural wonders such as Jade Maiden Peak, Sky-Supporting Jade Pillar, Mushroom Tower, Flying Rock, Heaven’s Crack, Flying Waterfall, and Sky Street Corridor, all of which are breathtaking. Indeed, it features caves within caves, caves above caves, caves nested within caves, and caves connected to caves—each offering a unique spectacle, truly spectacular. Ancient relics have also been discovered inside, making it a distinctive natural tourism resource. The Twin Dragons Great Rift Valley Natural Scenic Area boasts undulating mountains and continuous ridges; majestic and grand with overwhelming momentum; deep valleys and ravines, lush green mountains and clear waters, filled with birdsong and floral fragrance. Nature’s master sculptor has exercised miraculous craftsmanship here, creating the wondrous landscapes of Xiong'er Mountain’s water, forests, and rocks. Amidst this feast for the eyes, you can hear the tinkling of springs, smell the enticing mountain blossoms, breathe in the crisp wilderness air, and behold magical natural sights—offering a feeling of returning to nature.
