Moon Bay Tourist Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national-level wetland park.

Moon Bay Tourist Area is the first national-level wetland park in Shanting District. The scenic area covers a water surface of 1.42 square kilometers, making it the most ecologically preserved, densely scenic, culturally rich, and typical natural wetland in southern Shandong. It is a national-level wetland park integrating ecological conservation, restoration, and science education.

Moon Bay Wetland Park is located in Chengtou Town, Shanting District, with a planned area of 3.1 square kilometers, including a water surface of 1.42 square kilometers and a total shoreline of 20 kilometers. It is divided into a wetland conservation zone, a wetland restoration zone, an ecological exhibition zone, a rational utilization zone, and a park service management zone. It has been awarded several honors, including Provincial Wetland Park and Provincial Water Conservancy Scenic Area.

After on-site inspection, evaluation, and assessment by experts from the National Wetland Review Committee, Moon Bay Wetland Park was approved by the State Forestry Administration as a “National-Level Wetland Park.” It is the only national-level wetland park in Zaozhuang City to receive approval in this round of evaluations.
