Yiyun Stone Village Tribe

Yiyun Stone Village Tribe is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Zaozhuang Yiyun Stone Village Tribe is located within Shanting District of Zaozhuang City, at the eastern foothills of Yiyun Mountain — the highest peak in Zaozhuang — and borders the east side of Yiyun Lake, known as the “First Pearl of Southern Shandong.” This scenic area is a comprehensive tourist zone integrating exploration of the stone house mountain village, experience of folk culture, participation in rural farming, suburban landscape vacationing, water recreation, business conferences, and self-drive campgrounds. It will evolve into a new comprehensive tourism and vacation resort featuring twelve scenic spots such as “Yifeng Bearing Mist” and “Yunhu Evening Haze,” each offering distinct seasonal landscapes.

The first phase currently under development is an ancient village area themed around sightseeing, experience, farming participation, and alpine recreation. Primarily using traditional residences from southern Shandong as a base, it restores distinctive local features such as stone houses, stone buildings, stone streets, and stone paths to their original appearance, recreating the image of an ancient mountain village from people’s memories. It also incorporates various folk cultures and traditional arts from the region, reviving the past “rural charm.” Among the variously sized and uniquely arranged residences being developed, there are living quarters for residents to add a sense of daily life to the village; exhibition houses showcasing local folk crafts and production techniques to enrich the village’s cultural content; and fully functional, authentically styled leisure and vacation homes to meet diverse visitor needs. Behind the village, a range of high-altitude recreational activities are available, such as a nearly kilometer-long rafting course and grass sliding, perfectly blending tourism with hands-on experiences. The scenic area has also partnered with Zhang Yueqiao, the runner-up of China’s annual “Star Avenue” talent show, to establish the Hawthorn Sister Grand Stage, which hosts large-scale performance shows during peak seasons.

The second phase involves the development of a high-altitude canyon resort area. This section utilizes the valley by constructing a dam to store water and developing various styles and distinctive resort courtyards on both sides of the water. By making full use of the terrain and landforms, it forms a resort area that is staggered in elevation, naturally ecological, and fully featured. It also develops various homestyle agritainment zones, allowing visitors to participate and share in rural life. On the flat slopes, a large-scale Three Trees Dining Center, business conference center, and high-altitude lotus pond RV campground are being developed, offering the complete range of mid- to high-end vacation experiences.

The third phase is the Yiyun Lake Waterfront Leisure and Recreation Area. This section is a high-end waterfront leisure and recreation zone developed along the shores of Yiyun Lake, surrounded by mountains and shimmering waters. It features a variety of water-friendly amusement projects, a large-scale artificial beach, boats of different sizes for sightseeing, and fully equipped waterfront leisure villas.
