The beautiful Xizhuang Village is located 3 kilometers south of Beizhuang Town, Shanting District, Zaozhuang City, and only 13 kilometers from downtown Zaozhuang. It is surrounded by national 4A-level natural forest oxygen bar attractions such as Baodugu, the national 4A-level geological park — Xiong’ershan (Earthquake Grand Canyon), Longchuang Reservoir, and Zhoucun Reservoir. Provincial Highway 240 runs through the village, making transportation convenient. With lush green trees, picturesque mountains, and clear waters, the environment here is beautiful and pleasant.

Xizhuang Village currently administers four natural villages: Xiaoxizhuang, Zhaozhuang, Taoyuan, and Chenya. The village has a total of 548 households and 2,070 residents. Because the village is situated among four plum blossom-shaped mountains to the east, west, south, and north, locals commonly refer to it as the “Land of Plum Blossom Fortune.” Xizhuang Village has vast mountainous areas and features a “Guzhuang” (isolated hill) landform. As a result, numerous mountain ranges on both sides of the village extend westward, as if heading straight for the peak of Xiaoliangshan Guzhuang, forming a mountain range pattern that resembles “two dragons playing with a pearl.”

Within Xizhuang Village, there are four natural scenic areas: Yanglan Reservoir Scenic Area, Chenya Reservoir Scenic Area, Taoyuan Valley Scenic Area, and Zhaozhuang Kaolao Gu (commonly known as Kelaguo) Forest Oxygen Bar Scenic Area. During the day, the air is filled with cooking smoke, birds chirp in the valleys, and the sky is clear; at night, stars twinkle, moonlight is like water, and all is quiet and peaceful. Among them, over 20% of the population of Taoyuan Village are seniors aged 80 or above, making it a veritable “village of longevity.” The natural forest oxygen bar environment ensures the surrounding air is rich in negative ions, which are highly beneficial for health and wellness.
