Donggu Cheng Site

The Donggu Cheng Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Donggu Cheng Site is located in Shuiquan Town, Shanting District, Zaozhuang City, dating back to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty to the Han Dynasty.

On June 23, 2015, the Donggu Cheng Site was designated as part of the fifth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Shuiquan Town: Shuiquan Town is situated in the northern part of Shanting District, bordering Linyi City, covering a total area of 107.6 square kilometers. It governs 36 administrative villages with a population of 40,300. National Highway O9 and the Dian (zi)–Xu (zhou) Road run through the town, adjacent to the Beijing–Fuzhou Expressway and the Beijing–Shanghai Railway to the west, offering convenient transportation.

The town features beautiful mountains and clear waters, with fragrant orchards and forests. It is the largest fruit-specialized town in southern Shandong, with 65,000 mu of fruit orchards, producing 35,000 tons of dried and fresh fruits annually.
