Xiaomazhuang Tombs

The Xiaomazhuang Tombs are a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

The Xiaomazhuang Tombs are located in Sangcun Town, Shanting District, Zaozhuang City, dating back to the Han Dynasty.

On June 23, 2015, the Xiaomazhuang Tombs were designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Sangcun Town: The town of Sangcun was initially established during the Spring and Autumn period, took shape in the Warring States period, and was then known as Lingqiu, a southern settlement of the Qi State. It flourished during the Western and Eastern Han Dynasties, covering an area of a thousand hectares. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it attracted many merchants and became famous for widespread mulberry cultivation and sericulture.

Sangcun is located in the western part of Shanting District, Zaozhuang City, adjacent to Tengzhou. It covers a total area of 78 square kilometers, has 23 villages (communities), and a population of 91,000.
