The Cliffside Buddhist Carvings at Baodu Fortress are located in Beizhuang Town, Shanting District, Zaozhuang City, dating back to the Tang Dynasty.

On October 10, 2013, the Cliffside Buddhist Carvings at Baodu Fortress were designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Beizhuang Town: Beizhuang Town is situated in the southeastern part of Shanting District, on the western edge of the Yimeng Mountain area. It borders Feixian County to the north, Cangshan County to the east, and the central urban area of Zaozhuang to the south. The town covers a total area of 180 square kilometers, with 41,500 mu of arable land. It administers 23 administrative villages and 179 natural villages, with a total population of 48,500.
