Xingtai Puming Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Xingtai Puming Temple is located in Licun, Qiaoxi District, Xingtai City, Hebei Province. The temple complex consists of a main gate, the Heavenly King Hall, bell and drum towers, the Mahavira Hall, side halls on the east and west sides, the Mahavira Hall, and the Scripture Depository. Originally built during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty, it was first named Puren An and later renamed Puming Temple. Throughout history, the temple has experienced several periods of prosperity and decline, especially during the devastation of the Cultural Revolution, which left the original temple and stone tablets completely destroyed.

After the reform and opening-up policies were implemented and religious practices were reinstated, in 1994, devoted Buddhist followers funded the reconstruction of the Mahavira Hall and surrounding courtyards on overgrown land covered with weeds, sand, and rubble. On April 1, 1999 (the 15th day of the second lunar month), the current abbot, Venerable Longhui, presided over the consecration ceremony of the Mahavira Hall.

On September 13, 2001 (the 26th day of the seventh lunar month), the foundation for the Heavenly King Hall and bell and drum towers was laid. After more than three years of construction and an investment of over 700,000 yuan, more than fifty structures were completed, including the Heavenly King Hall, the Cloud Water Hall, and storage rooms.

On October 24, 2004 (the 11th day of the ninth lunar month), Venerable Longhui held the consecration ceremony for the Heavenly King Hall. By then, a serene temple complex with red walls, golden tiles, and lush cypress trees had largely taken shape. With its long history and rich cultural heritage, the temple enjoys a thriving spiritual life and regularly hosts various Buddhist ceremonies. Notably, on the first and fifteenth days of each lunar month, Puming Temple offers free memorial services for the deceased, attracting large gatherings of worshippers from near and far, creating a spectacular scene.
