The botanical garden has collected over 100,000 plant specimens from both domestic and international sources, and has introduced and acclimatized more than 3,400 species. The Chinese dawn redwood, known as a “living fossil,” has been propagated to tens of thousands of plants. The garden features resting halls and stone benches and tables set under the shade of trees for visitors to relax.

The botanical garden is divided into 11 exhibition areas based on natural plant communities and different ecological environments for visitors to appreciate, in addition to flower exhibitions and rare turtle displays.

Introduction:

The botanical garden is a well-known subtropical alpine botanical garden in China. Established in 1934, it covers an area of 3 square kilometers. The garden primarily focuses on the research of shrubs, while also including tea and fruit plants, garden plants, and medicinal plants. It serves not only as a scientific research base but also as a scenic attraction.
