The former site of the Jiujiang Monastery is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Jiangxi Province.

The former site of the Jiujiang Monastery is located at No. 1, Yuliang South Road, Historical and Cultural Block, Xunyang District, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, facing south. Surrounded by lush greenery in an elegant setting, it has been largely well-preserved since its completion in 1937 and is the largest monastery in Jiangxi. The monastery was designed by French priest Father Meng Falang and built under the supervision of Father Luarda. It measures 38 meters in width and 48 meters in depth, with the main building standing 18 meters tall across three floors, covering a total floor area of 3,057.7 square meters. Constructed with a brick-and-wood structure, it features blue bricks and red tiles, a wooden roof truss with a four-sloped roof—though the eastern side has a two-sloped roof and the western side a four-sloped roof—and a row of dormer windows on the roof. The entrance leads to a passageway and staircase, with the western side of the corridor featuring a central corridor and side corridors on each floor. The first floor houses a guest hall and dining room on the east side, and on the west side, there are accommodations for junior monks and an indoor sports court. The second floor includes a chapel and altar on the east, while the west side contains classrooms, dormitories, and a piano room for senior monks. The third floor is home to a choir loft and more accommodations for junior monks. The compound also includes structures such as a gatehouse and kitchen. It was designated as a sixth batch provincial-level cultural heritage site in 2018.
