Former Site of the Dean's Apartment at Daford Hospital

The former site of the Dean's Apartment at Daford Hospital is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Jiangxi Province.

The former site of the Dean's Apartment at Daford Hospital is located at No. 61 (formerly No. 15) Gan Tang South Road, Huangtupo Community, Gantang Subdistrict, Xunyang District, Jiujiang City (within the Municipal Maternal and Child Health Hospital). It was part of the Daford Hospital established in Jiujiang by the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, of the United States. The building faces south and features a brick-and-wood structure. It is 15.6 meters wide and 14.7 meters deep, with three floors above ground, the ground floor being a semi-basement. The total construction area is 699 square meters. In late 2003, the Maternal and Child Health Hospital carried out a comprehensive renovation of the building. Except for the main entrance being moved from the south side to the north side, the rest of the structure remains in its original form. In 2018, it was designated as a provincial-level cultural heritage site.
