Dexing Waterfall

Dexing Waterfall is located on the Shanzhuhu Industrial Road in Xiaobantian, Lugu Township. It belongs to the upper reaches of Chuzi Stream, a tributary of Dongpurui Stream, and was formed by the Diesimaikeng rock formation, with its water originating from Dalun Mountain.

The waterfall is divided into upper and lower tiers, with a combined height of over 50 meters. A side trail leads to the upper tier, where years of continuous water erosion have carved the rock into a pot-shaped deep pool. The water spills over and cascades down to the second tier, creating a year-round flow with clear, cool water. The surrounding cliffs are towering, the forest lush, and the area is rich in birdlife and aquatic ecosystems.

During holidays, the site is bustling with visitors, many of whom come here for barbecues or to enjoy the water. In recent years, the Xiaobantian area has been actively promoting tourism, and related facilities are under continuous development. Basic amenities such as restrooms and trails have been completed to accommodate visitors. The site is approximately 4.5 kilometers from the Xiaobantian Tourism Center, about a 15-minute drive away. Alternatively, it is recommended to start the hike from the Neishan Bamboo Forest Trail, located about 1.5 kilometers from the Xiaobantian Tourism Center. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful Moso bamboo forests, and the one-way hiking distance takes about an hour.
