The former site cluster of the oath-taking assembly for the expedition of the Red Army's Advance Division in Guangcaishan is located in Guangcaishan Natural Village, Hualin Village, Rao’er Town, Dexing City. In late November 1934, the Fujian–Zhejiang–Jiangxi Provincial Committee, the Provincial Soviet Government, and other authorities moved into Guangcaishan. In January 1935, the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army's Advance Column on the Northern Expedition against Japan returned from southern Anhui to the revolutionary base area in northeastern Jiangxi, but was surrounded by enemy forces in Huaiyushan. On January 16, Su Yu and Liu Ying were ordered to lead the vanguard troops to break through the encirclement and enter the Wufengdong area of Dexing, where they settled the wounded and sick. Su Yu then led the advance column’s breakout troops to Guangcaishan to meet with the Fujian–Zhejiang–Jiangxi Provincial Committee. In February, the breakout troops of the advance column and a company from the Independent Regiment of the Fujian–Zhejiang–Jiangxi Provincial Military District formed the Advance Division, totaling 538 personnel. Su Yu was appointed as division commander, Liu Ying as political commissar, and Huang Fuwu as director of the political department. On February 27, the officers and soldiers of the Advance Division held an oath-taking assembly in the village square in front of the stage in Guangcaishan, setting out from Guangcaishan for the third time into northern Fujian and advancing into southwestern Zhejiang to establish a revolutionary base there.
