The Reclining Book Tower

The Reclining Book Tower is a cultural relics protection unit of Dexing City.

The Reclining Book Tower is located in Xinyingyi Village, Xinying Subdistrict. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is categorized as an ancient residential building.

On October 21, 2018, it was designated as a Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit (Fifth Batch) by the People's Government of Dexing City.

Xinying Subdistrict: Located in the southwestern part of the city, along the middle reaches of the Ji River. It borders Huqiao Town to the east, Rao’er Town and Zhangcun Township to the south, Yincheng Subdistrict and Xiangtun Subdistrict to the west, and Sizhou Town to the north. The subdistrict covers a total area of 75 square kilometers with a population of 37,200, including 27,900 non-agricultural residents. It administers four neighborhood committees—Wuyuan, Nvertian, Hongshan, and Yinlu—and three village committees—Xinyingyi Village, Xinying’er Village, and Xinyingsan Village.
