The Cheng Family Residence is a cultural heritage protection unit of Dexing City.

The Cheng Family Residence is located in Xinjian Village, Xingangshan Town, dating back to the Qing Dynasty, and is classified as an ancient residential building.

On October 21, 2018, it was announced by the People's Government of Dexing City as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.

Xingangshan Town: Dexing City’s Xingangshan Town is situated in the northeastern part of Dexing, at the junction of three provinces (Jiangxi, Zhejiang, and Anhui) and four counties (cities). Historically known as “Silver Fortress,” it boasts a history of over 1,800 years. It currently governs eight administrative villages and two communities, covering a total area of 294 square kilometers with a population of more than 27,000. As the “eastern gateway of Dexing,” it enjoys a strategic transportation advantage with access to both expressways and railways—featuring interchanges on the Dechang and Jingwu-Chang expressways, as well as the Jiujiang–Jingdezhen–Quzhou Railway running through the town, and the Dexing East Railway Station welcoming visitors from all directions.
