The ruins of Xinglin Temple are a cultural heritage protection unit of Handan City.

The ruins of Xinglin Temple are located in Xiangchenggu Town, Qiuxian County, dating from the Tang Dynasty to the Republic of China period.

The ruins of Xinglin Temple are among the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Handan City.

Xiangchenggu Town: Located in the northeast of the county, Xiangchenggu Town borders Linxi County to the east and is adjacent to Weixian County and Guangzong County to the north. The township covers a total area of 51 square kilometers, comprising 35 administrative villages and 22 natural villages. It has an agricultural population of 27,438, with the township government seated in Xiangchenggu, about 10 kilometers from the county seat. Originally situated on the west side of the middle section of the north-south street within Xiangchenggu Village, it was relocated to its current site in 1975.

From the Han Dynasty to 1940, Xiangchenggu was part of Quzhou County. In April 1940, it came under Qizhi County, and after November 1945, it was incorporated into District One of Qiuxian County.
