Yutian Lake Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area and a national wetland park.

Yutian Lake Scenic Area, located 19 kilometers southeast of the city, is surrounded by mountains and features interconnected landscapes. Every year, a large number of wild mandarin ducks inhabit and overwinter here. The lake offers recreational activities such as motorboats and luxury speedboats. Below the dam, there is a flowing water fish farming and fishing center. At the heart of the lake, birds, flowers, river, and green leaves create a picturesque scene, along with dining options, a leisure bridge, ancient tombs, stone figures, and horses—offering a blend of natural and cultural attractions that make it an ideal spot for leisure and fishing.

Located in Yutian Village, Xianghu Town, Xianghu County, the lake spans over 2,000 acres, surrounded by undulating hills and shimmering blue waters. The harmonious blend of mountain and water scenery creates a stunning panorama. The area features peculiar rock formations, sheer cliffs, and blooming mountain flowers, with a large number of wild mandarin ducks inhabiting and overwintering here. Together with Leping Cuiping Lake and Wuyuan Mandarin Duck Lake, it forms the Mandarin Duck Triangle.
