Jinzhu Mountain Village is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Jinzhu Mountain Village is a national key scenic area currently applying for a 4A-level designation. It is located in the northern part of Fuliang County, Jingdezhen City, approximately 40-plus kilometers from downtown Jingdezhen. The area can be directly accessed by vehicle from the city center and is a comprehensive scenic destination integrating cultural and natural landscapes. Covering an area of about 150 square kilometers, the scenic zone features vast mountain ranges, with most peaks exceeding 500 meters above sea level. The southern peak, "Jiaoding Mountain," rises over 1,000 meters, making it the highest point in the region.

The area is covered with towering ancient trees and swaying bamboo groves. Extensive stretches of pristine subtropical rainforest provide an ideal habitat for birds and wildlife, as well as a thriving environment for rare species such as the "dawn redwood" and the "ginkgo tree," hailed by biologists as a "living fossil." These forests serve as a sanctuary where dawn redwoods and ginkgos naturally flourish.

The scenic area is crisscrossed with mountain springs, most of which have a flow rate of 0.5 to 1 cubic meter per second or more. Jinzhu Mountain Village boasts beautiful landscapes and a pleasant climate. In the hot summer months, average temperatures here are 5–8 degrees lower than in the urban area, earning it a reputation as an ideal retreat for leisure, vacation, and summer escape.

The area has a rich historical and cultural heritage. Terraced fields from the Qin Dynasty encircle the mountains and waters, alongside ancient altars, Ming Dynasty tombs, Qing Dynasty stone prohibition tablets, the Huirao Ancient Path, mountain village terraces, ancient fortresses, and the Scholar's Stone—all echoing whispers from antiquity. The 40-li-long Cao Village Ridge has been home to many historical figures throughout history. Heritage sites such as the "Cao Family Ancestral Hall," "Ye Family Ancestral Hall," and "Chen Family Ancestral Hall," having withstood centuries of change, remain preserved for visitors to explore and connect with the past.

The natural landscapes of the scenic area are marvels of nature: Goddess Washing Silk, Immortal Valley, Tiger Pool Dream, Welcoming Pine, Twin Dragons Rafting, Thunder-split Rock, Golden Rooster Pool, and Three Dragons Probing the Well—all seemingly crafted by celestial hands.

Buddhist site: Jinshan Temple is situated in Xiaoyuan Village within the scenic area. The site covers an area of 3,500 square meters. Over 300 years ago, legend has it that the monk Fahai passed through Xiaoyuan Village on his way to Hangzhou’s Jinshan Temple. Moved by the kindness, diligence, and simplicity of the villagers, as well as the area’s beautiful mountains and clear waters, Fahai believed Xiaoyuan Village to be an auspicious land blessed by both “dragon veins” and favorable orientation. He advised the villagers to build a temple—Jinshan Temple—to attract prosperity and population growth. Indeed, after the temple was constructed, Xiaoyuan Village enjoyed favorable weather and growing prosperity year after year, and the temple became increasingly popular among worshippers.
