Rao'nan Ceramics Theme Park is a scenic area primarily characterized by ceramic culture. It preserves numerous ancient kiln sites from the Song, Yuan, and Ming dynasties. Among them, the Rao'nan accumulation is the most representative discovered site of ceramic production cross-section features in the world. Visitors can see the oldest handmade ceramic craftsmanship as well as ancient water-powered trip hammers, ancient mining caves, ancient glaze workshops, and the ruins of dragon kilns. In autumn, it’s also a great spot for enjoying the maple leaves, having barbecues, and exploring ancient trails.

Rao'nan Ceramics Theme Park is located near Rao'nan Village, situated between the Porcelain and Tea Ancient Town Tourist Area and the Meiling Leisure Resort Area. Rao'nan is a village named after the East River that winds around its southern side. The villagers have been engaged in the processing and production of glaze materials since before the Song Dynasty, with a history of over a thousand years. As a result, the area boasts a long-standing ceramic culture and a profound sense of history.

Transportation:

1. From Jingdezhen: After arriving in Jingdezhen, go to the Licheng Short-Distance Bus Station and take the “Jingdezhen–Yaoli” shuttle bus. There are two daily buses — one departs at 7:30 AM from Jingdezhen and arrives in Yaoli around 9:00 AM; the other departs at 2:00 PM from Jingdezhen and arrives in Yaoli around 4:00 PM.

2. From Wuhan: There are four daily buses from Wuhan to Yaoli. Board at Wuhan’s Fujiapo Long-Distance Bus Station. Departure times: 8:40, 10:40, 15:40, and 17:40.
